Business Development: Raytheon IDS Business Development’s primary focus is growth, facilitated by maintaining the integrity and accountability of the business development process, leading to the identification of new business opportunities and the development of effective and efficient capture strategies.

Job Description:

The Sr. Strategic Pricing Manager will be responsible for leading all the Strategic pricing within IDS to include SCS, NTSP, CSRP and Patriot. This person will be responsible for performing Price to Win analysis on competitive contracts ranging in size from $25M to over $1B. IDS submits more than 300 proposals each year of which roughly 40 are competitive. The Sr. Strategic Pricing Manager is expected to create estimates/predictions of competitors pricing on major contracts by incorporating individual competitor knowledge with acquired Competitive Intelligence (CI). This person will also be responsible for devising and recommending IDS pricing strategies to effectively compete against competitors predicted pricing.

Considered an expert on all strategic and critical pursuits, the Sr. Strategic Pricing Manager will interact primarily with WIN Leaders, BD Leaders, Competitive Intelligence BD staff, Cost Volume Leads, IBT leadership team and capture team members. This person is expected to also be a productive participant in Black Hat reviews, Gate reviews, red teams and win strategy workshops.

The position is located in Tewksbury, MA and reports to the Director, WIN Processes and Accountability. Other IDS locations may be considered.

Required Skills:

· 12 years experience in federal service contract price competitions.

· BS degree in Business, Finance or Economics

· Price To Win experience and associated competitor/industry knowledge.

· Ability to develop a pricing strategy based on knowledge of competitor behaviors and strategies.

· Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills.

· Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

· Experience with parametric cost modeling tools.

· Ability to travel

Desired Skills:

· Work experience within the services sector of major RTSC competitors involved in competitive bidding financial position.

· Previous Cost Volume lead experience.

· Ability to gather and utilize competitive intelligence effectively.

· Demonstrated the ability to work in a team environment.

· Detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced work environment.

· Demonstrated analytical and creative problem solving skills.

· MBA or Masters degree in Finance
