Description Measure and sample the physical and non-physical properties of soil from a geotechnical, geological, or environmental standpoint or the analysis of construction materials. Coordination and scheduling of geotechnical subsurface evaluations, working with drill rig crews, classification of soils and logging of borings, test pits, and cores, performing floor level surveys, documentation of distressed structures, assignment of lab testing, and geotechnical report preparation.
Requirements: Measure and sample the physical and non-physical properties of soil from a geotechnical, geological, or environmental standpoint or the analysis of construction materials. Coordination and scheduling of geotechnical subsurface evaluations, working with drill rig crews, classification of soils and logging of borings, test pits, and cores, performing floor level surveys, documentation of distressed structures, assignment of lab testing, and geotechnical report preparation. Candidate should have an understanding and knowledge of soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering. Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Must be able to work both independently and as a team member. Must have a current valid drivers license (clean DMV) and pass a criminal Background check.
