NATIONAL ACCOUNT DIRECTOR ROLE DESCRIPTION Indianapolis based roles covering a geographic territory Base salary with commission plan (at plan equal to base salary) 60% travel / face to face presentations required for NAD Long sales cycles (6 to 18 months) Farmer and Hunter duties required - 70% hunting within prospect and existing clients and 30% maintenance of current business (pure hunters or pure farmers will not be successful) Although sales support is available, the role requires the ability to manage the entire sales cycle without being dependant upon internal resources Role includes telephone sales, face to face presentations, whiteboard discussions and product demonstrations IDEAL TRAITS Appropriate experience in sales with a technology and financial services focus Ability to generate new business Ability to built strong client relationships Ability to sell additive business Ability to problem solve a myriad of situations Strong abstract reasoning ability A strong sense of self confidence Strong selling abilities on phone Good presentation skills in written proposals and face to face demos Good technical knowledge and aptitude Ability to perform in small team environments and work cross-functions Outstanding CONSULTATIVE SALES experience and aptitude to CLOSE THE DEAL
