Safety OfficerThe Hospitals of Northeast Health Systems are part of a well established healthcare organization that serves Northeastern Massachusetts and is founded on the principles of Quality, Caring and Community. Coordinates acute care safety program including identification, prevention and control of safety hazards. Implements and monitors safe practice in collaboration with department managers, medical staff, and Safety Committee. maintains currency with Joint Commission, NFPA, DEP, OSHA & Local/state safety regulation to assure compliance. Actively participates in implementation of Nation Patient Safety Goals. Develops, presents &/or coordinates related educational programs. Consults/collaborates with hospital and community representatives on safety issues. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and knowlege of adult education principles. This is a full-time position with an on-call requirement. Flexible schedule required.

Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree with a clinical healthcare major, Joint Commission Environment of Care Program, 3-5 years of clinical experience.
