Summary
Individual to be responsible for developing a tool to synchronize IBM Rational RequisitePro Requirements (version 7.1) to HP Quality Center Test Management Tool (version 10) and report results. Candidate must have RequisitePro development experience. Candidate must have thorough knowledge of Quality Center. Candidate must have experience using Rational ReqPro API and Quality Center API. The tool will synchronize requirements from ReqPro to Quality Center and report results.

Candidate must be able to complete assignment within a tight deadline, work independently and deliver results based on documented requirements. Candidate must follow professional software development standards, accurately document system and software, inside the produced code. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Collegial attitude preferred.

Duties
Quickly acquire a thorough understanding of the requirements.
Independently ask questions to fully understand and grasp requirements.
Partner with Configuration Management architect and management to develop a supportable, comprehensive tool.
Partner with external teams as necessary to accomplish tasks: i.e. work with Quality Center support team to gain access to Quality Center application.

Technical Requirements

Requisite Pro 7.1. Previous development experience with API required.

Quality Center 10. Previous development experience with API required.

Demonstrated experience coding software using C#, PERL or JAVA.

Knowledge of change management procedures and tools, such as ClearQuest, RequisitePro, Remedy.

Exceptional communication skills.

Strong technical foundation and proven track record of delivering high quality work.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
