Description Project Description:
To plan and deliver telecomms projects, to timescales and budget agreed with the Customer, using Project Delivery Framework (PDF) standards & processes.
Defines, documents and safely executes complex telecommunications infrastructure projects, actively participating in all phases of the project as defined in PDF standards. Manages delivery of projects to timescale and budget agreed with the Customer.
Ensures accurate estimating of project costs, timescales and resource requirements in relation to agreed terms of reference. Subsequently monitors overall progress and initiates corrective action to address exceptions, slippage and issues of priority. Manages Customer expectations.
Ensures realistic project, quality and risk plans are prepared and maintained and tracks progress against the plans, providing regular progress reports to the Customer and line management as appropriate. Manages a change control process in relation to the project/programme, gaining agreement for revisions to the scope from project sponsors, and ensuring projects continue to meet business objectives.
Obtain formal approval to start a new project or project phase.
Prepare a Project Management Plan, which is a formal, approved document or set of documents, whose purpose is to define how the project is executed, monitored and controlled, and closed.
Direct and manage project execution to complete the scope of work defined in the project management plan to achieve the project objectives and requirements. Implement change requests and corrective actions.
Carry out administrative closure of the project.

Experience Requirements 5+ years of Infrastructure experience either in Systems and/or network Engineering or in Infrastructure Consultancy. 2+ years of project leading experience as a Senior Infrastructure Technical Project Lead
