Experience: At least 5 years

The right candidate's primary responsibility will be to design, implement and maintain analysis software for advanced high-throughput screening instruments.

Managing a small team of scientific programmers the applicant will lead the development of commercial applications for analysis in areas such as separation assays, flow cytometry and SNP genotyping.

This hands on position requires working with scientists to understand requirements, documenting solutions, develop algorithms, GUI design and working with SQA to develop algorithm tests.

Job Requirements:

* At least one degree (BS, MS or PhD) in the field of Engineering from an accredited undergraduate program
(A degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Software Engineering is preferred)
* Strong mathematical analysis and algorithm development background Strong C++ programming skills.
(At least 5 years C/C++)
* Experience in bringing products to market
* Experience using object-oriented software design methods and programming techniques
* Familiar with MATLAB languages and tools
* Technical Background Pluses Experience with laboratory automation, robotics, or instrument control software
* Experience designing and implementing high-quality GUIs Experience with medical or life science applications
