Product Manager - New ProductsTeva Neuroscience, Inc. markets COPAXONE® (glatiramer acetate injection) and AZILECT® (rasagiline tablets). Teva Neuroscience offers a total approach to disease management and has established several innovative and effective patient education and advocacy programs.

Overview:







The purpose of the Product Manager is to evaluate markets, identify issues and opportunities within a given market(s), develop strategies and then work with internal associates and agency partners to create and implement tactics aligned with the strategies and objectives. The Product Manager also manages long-term product strategy and product life cycle and uses experience from previous commercial roles to build brand value proposition and prepare brand for rapid market uptake. The Product Manager will work on a variety of projects which span the life cycle of the brand up to launch. The Product Manager will be able to work independently based on previous experience.



Responsibilities:



Gives input on strategy and direction of the brand



Identifies obstacles to brand growth and works collaboratively to resolve them



Identifies and pursues opportunities to drive brand value and accelerate uptake



Gives input on overall marketing mix



Plans and develops tactics aligned with predefined strategies and etablishes timelines and budgets for them



Manages overall and specific budgets to achieve defined targets



Manages projects



Works with internal associates and agency partners to create, develop and implement tactical plan to meet defined timelines



Works with production manager to ensure quality and timely production of tactics developed with the agency



Attends external customer meetings: advisory, medical, etc.



Makes presentations to sales representatives and managers in various meetings



Analyzes market data and information



Qualifications:



Education and Experience Required: Bachelor\'s Degree, preferably in Business or Marketing, MBA and/or advanced science degree; with 3-5 years of experience preferably in pharmaceuticals





Experience Preferred: Pharmaceutical sales experience, band advertising experience, dmonstrated acumen in targeted or related therapeutic area(s) of neurology, autoimmune or oncology, and experience managing people
