As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will:

Provide therapy services consistent with the patient's Plan of Treatment.
Assist in the implementation of vocational and educational programs to restore, reinforce and enhance task performances, diminish or correct pathology and to promote health and self sufficiency.
Design and adapt equipment for working and living environment. Fabricate devices to assist and improve function, independence and participation in the program.
Provide therapeutic treatment and instruction to patients in accordance with physician orders to improve and restore strength, coordination, range of motion and function.

Has the autonomy to make individualized patient-centered decisions for optimal clinical care.
Works with other highly skilled clinicians through a multi- or interdisciplinary team approach.

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted OTA licensure
A minimum of six months occupational therapist assistant experience preferred
Home Health experience a plus
Current CPR certification
Good organizational and communication skills
