Summary/Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


The Medicinal Chemistry group in West Point, PA is currently searching for a Medicinal Chemist to join our team. Within this role, you will work alongside other Client research scientists and be responsible for the synthesis and identification of organic compounds for biological evaluation against potential drug targets.


If you have a BA / BS or MS Degree in Chemistry we want to hear from you. Some of the desired skills would include knowledge and understanding of organic compounds, experience in organic chemistry and separation of organic compounds.


Instrumental techniques including IR, NMR, HPLC, and UV are highly preferred. You should also have the ability to work effectively in both an independent and team environment.


Essential Knowledge, Skill, Experience:


The successful candidate will be responsible for the synthesis and identification of organic compounds for biological evaluation.


Knowledge and experience in synthetic chemistry, and separation of organic compounds;


Knowledge of instrumental techniques including IR, NMR, HPLC, and UV preferred. BA/BS or MS in chemistry required.
