As an Investment Management Partner within the firm, you will focus on complimenting the existing practice areas with your portfolio of clientsYou will represent the financial and regulatory interests of mutual funds, independent directors of mutual funds, investment advisers and broker-dealers, banks and insurance companies.As counsel to several of the nations largest mutual fund groups and institutional money managers, the firm help their clients comply with federal and state securities law, develop tax planning strategies, acquire and divest investment advisers, and create innovative mutual fund capital structures and operating procedures. The firm offiers the same skills to international clients seeking to acquire investment companies or offer securities in the U.S. Your concentration on investment advisory representation and/or compliance reviews is another important aspect of ensuring your clients maximize their potential as businesses and a key factor in establishing a point of difference. Who we are looking for :
You will be working as an established Investment Management Partner at a reputable NY law firm.You will be driven by providing a superior service to your clients and go the extra mile to ensure you become an integrated member of their businesses. You will be an experienced Corporate lawyer with a strong background in investment advisory regulations, mutual funds and the 40s Act.You may be finding the instability of your current firm and limitations to really excel frustrating.You will be commercially savvy, creative, hardworking and entreprenuerial.You must be NY Bar Qualified.It is essential that you have portable business or clients anywhere from $750K+ and a desire to grow and develop your portfolio within an emerging office of a prestigious firm in the Financial Services market.
