Industrial Engineer Consultant

Overview:

Develops innovative concepts of engineering and initiatives. Consults with management in such vital areas of operations and facility planning. Provides consultation to improve productivity and performance in all areas of operations. Provides technical expertise related to facility planning, systems equipment, layout and cost justifications. Provides technical training to personnel.

Position Information:

KNOWLEDGE

Strong knowledge of WMS and warehouse related computer systems
Strong capability in time and motion study and workflow design in manufacturing and distribution environment
Strong communication skills, and people skills
Provide leadership in areas of industrial engineering and/or operations
Strong analytical and practical application skills
Ability to provide instructional methods
Ability to manage multiple projects

ADDITIONAL JOB ELEMENTS

Extensive experience in distribution
Demonstrated experience in productivity measurement and improvement
LEAN Manufacturing and AutoCAD experience preferred

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in related field
8 years related, progressive experience (preferred)

Masters degree
6 years progressive related experience.
