Our large scale and well known client is currently looking for an Applications Support Analyst/Helpdesk. Analyst to join one of their teams for the next 6 months. In this role you will be providing operational support for a range of Knowledge Management Tools/Applications along with a number of other Business Intelligence systems.
Your duties will include:-
- Monitoring incidents raised by users
- Investigation and diagnosis of these incidents and user queries
- Routine applications/systems maintenance
- User liaison as the first point of call
An excellent opportunity to sharpen your technical and support skills, to be considered for this role you should have:-
- Previous experience in providing helpdesk/user support - preferably with solid exposure to applications support
- Experience working in a large scale environment such as a bank, telecoms company, utility or government organisation.
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
- Tertiary Qualifications/Degree in an IT related discipline
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies
- Any exposure to tools such as TRIM, RightNow, Front Range, Business Objects and NextGeneration would be very highly prized for this role.
