Foreign DisclosureDuties/Responsibilities Provides on site foreign disclosure analysis and technical assistance supporting the International Security Division, Missile Defense Agency Responsible for review, analyzing and developing disclosures release decisions regarding the transfer of military information and technology to U.S. allies Analyze disclosure of Missile Defense Agency classified and technical information proposed for release during international modeling and simulation war games in support of Initial Defensive Operations; focal point for analysis, coordination and release of Missile Defense Threat Overview Briefings, and ARROW Interoperability programs by coordinating efforts with other government agencies and their support contractors Analyzes and average of 15 foreign disclosure requests per month from Israel, Japan, United Kingdom, Canada, and Turkey.

Reviews and evaluate a foreign disclosure requests for oral, visual, and documentary release.

Staff & coordinate foreign disclosure request to cognizant authorities for their comments, concurrence and non-concurrence Receives coordinated staff summary sheets back from the cognizant authorities Prepare a MDA/DXSS(I) position for the release or denial of foreign disclosure ensure MDA compliance with national disclosure policy, foreign disclosure guidelines, the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and cooperative research agreements.

Drafts MDA/DXSS response memorandum for release or denial of foreign disclosure requests for government signature Forwards the signed approval or denial memorandum to the requestor Ensures all foreign disclosure requests are completed in the allocated time or request an extension from the requestor.
