Responsible for performing mobility, taping, painting, and test of the M777, according to schedule and in compliance with BAE Systems, RO Defense Inc. manufacturing/operating instructions. Produce a quality product which fulfills the highest quality standards for delivery to the US Department of Defense user.
Key Tasks:
- Perform Mobility on the M777 155mm Lightweight Howitzer
- Perform cleaning, prepping, and taping prior to paint
- Perform painting of the M777 155mm Lightweight Howitzer
- Verify Assembly & Test of the M777 155mm Lightweight Howitzer
- Follow quality control and test procedures for Howitzer assembly
- Installation and verification of fire control equipment
- Support mobility and ballistics testing
- Interpret engineering plans, drawings, and manufacturing instructions
- Use standard inspection equipment for verification of the manufacturing process and for purpose of problem solving
- Maintain Safe working practices at all times
