*Organizes, directs and supervises the activities of the Information Services Department personnel and resources, in order to efficiently and effectively meet the information needs of the various departments of the Organization.
*These efforts are in accord with the directives of the V.P. of Information Services and in close cooperation with department managers and all affected customers to successfully complete projects.
*Responsible for ensuring that regulatory requirements are met and policies and procedures within the IS department and the organization are compliant.
*Accomplishments are to be made within time and budgetary constraints set by executive management, with a goal to exceed customer expectations.
*Experience required in accurate completion of operating and capital budgets, managing projects to not exceed budgetary constraints and managing over 15 direct reports.
EDUCATION: Minimum, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, Masters preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years experience in hospital management, with five years experience in clinical and financial application implementations, including technical installations.
