Acts as liaison between customer, sales, and production.

Plans and coordinates the production ofpremedia jobs in order to achieve the objectives of the service agreement in compliance of customer expectations, company policy, and profit and quality requirements.

Applies understanding of customer\'s business needs in building solid customer relationships, monitoring customer satisfaction, and providing consulting in conjunction with RR Donnelley sales.

Serves as point of contact for customer-required services from multiple RRD facilities.

Responsibilities Work is typically performed under no supervision, with only guidance about overall goals and objectives.

Usually receive minimal to no guidance about how to complete work objectives.

Must be able to define work based on evaluation of short term and long term goals of the department.

Able to independently evaluate processes, identify areas of improvement, and incorporate in to overall work objectives.

Understands customer\'s business (organization structure, value chain, strategic plans, etc.) and teams with sales to assess and communicate service quality and service solution requirements to RRD organization Partners with sales to develop and execute on strategic customer plans, build contract provisions, and develop sales forecasts Handles high profile, major accounts which are produced across multiple plants and is the primary customer contact for all work Provides leadership to develop better methods, improved quality, customer satisfaction, higher productivity and lower operating costs Oversees the production process from point of sale until final delivery of customer\'s product, analyzing customer requirements to determine completeness Direct liaison between customer, sales and multiplesites Reviews customer specs for adherence to capabilities and provides efficient and economical production alternatives when necessary Enters orders into production, and issues and revises instructions for production Coordinates delivery of customer-supplied and other production materials Maintains active communication with and provides job status updates to customer, sales and production Facilitates resolution of production-related problems and performs appropriate service recovery process steps as defined needed Provides leadership and procedural assistance toother staff May be assigned leadershipduties Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned
