Our client, a cutting edge, alternative fuels manufacturer is seeking an experienced Chemical Engineer with expertise in transport phenomena, mixing, filtration, distillation and extraction involving multi-component, multi-phase liquid-gas systems to conduct research activities in the design and scale-up of pond and photobioreactor systems for use in massive scale industrial biofuels manufacture. The position involves testing, measurements and design both in laboratory and large scale field settings.
 
 
Requirements 
PhD in Chemical Engineering with at least 4-5 expertise in transport phenomena, mixing, filtration, distillation and extraction involving multi-component, multi-phase liquid-gas systems
Or an M.S. degree with substantial (10 years) experience in relevant experimental research and design of systems. 
The successful candidate msut be a highly skilled engineer as well as have the technical capability, and willingness to construct and test design concepts using scientific rigor.
To be considered for this position the candidate must have ethanol extraction experience.
