We are seeking a Senior Business Objects Report Writer who will be responsible for analyzing data needs and requirements of end users to create complex BusinessObjects Universes and reports. This individual will serve as a reporting expert on all Business Intelligence projects and will assist in the design and construction of relational databases to meet the business reporting needs. He or she will coordinate new data development ensuring consistency and integration with existing warehouse structure.
 
Responsibilities:

Design, develop and deploy complex BusinessObjects WEBI reports.
Create Universe classes, subclasses, objects, conditions, joins and prompts.
Guide technical resources BI projects through design, construction, testing and implementation.
Assist the Business Intelligence Architect with data warehouse design and Universe design for optimal report performance and increased report functionality.
Function as hands-on report expert and guides others in defining and implementing technical specifications for BI solutions.
Mentor/coach others in a team environment.
 
Qualifications:

Graduate degree, preferably in computer science or related technical field.
At least five years of BusinessObjects XI Webi and Universe Designer experience.
At least seven years of BusinessObjects Universe Designer and Webi ReportWriting experience.
At least five years of MSSQL Server 2000/2005 experience.
Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake Schema, OLAP).
Experience with BusinessObjects LiveOffice.
Experience with BusinessObjects Webi SDK.
Experience with Data Integrator, ETL processes and methodologies.
