BEAUTY AMBASSADOR (DEPARTMENT STORES): Macy\'s Visalia (Opening Fall 2009)
The Beauty Ambassador will represent the Bare Escentuals brand at the cosmetic counter in the department store.

Cosmetics is one of the most vibrant and fast-paced departments and we\'ll rely on the Beauty Ambassadors to keep the customer\'s shopping experience fresh and new every day through outstanding customer service and product knowledge. A successful Beauty Ambassador with Bare Escentuals possesses an enthusiasm for success and the creativeness to make it happen.
This part-time position maximizes sales by helping customers select and purchase merchandise, while following all company standards, policies and procedures. Embraces Bare Escentuals company philosophy while striving for superior customer service and sales.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure highest levels of customer service which will result in increased productivity and achieving sales goals
- Contribute to the success of the business by working with the team in support of the Business Manager\'s direction.
- Achieve retail sales goals by taking positive initiative and ensure the customer receives excellent customer service
- Demonstrate products on customers
- Serve as a resource for general product knowledge to all customers
- Achieve personal sales goals on a daily basis
- Assist in the preparation and completion of accurate physical inventory as requested
- Maintain the highest visual standards, including displays, signage, lighting and props
- Assist in the flow of merchandise from stock areas to the selling floor in a timely and organized manner
- Adhere to policies and procedures of the boutique and department store rules and regulations
- Perform other duties as required
- Selling 90%
- Merchandising/Operations 10%
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years retail experience, previous sales experience required
- Cosmetic sales experience a plus
- Excellent customer service, communication and organization skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional attitude and ability to be flexible and handle change in a positive manner
- Present a professional appearance and maintain Bare Escentuals grooming standards and dress code
- Able to work nights and weekends
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
