Candidates must have strong skills in creating a QTP framework - either from scratch or making modifications to an existing framework - and be very strong with VB scripting. Most candidates say that do have these skills but when screened lack the basic skills. Candidates must be able to code.

Position Specs:
QTP-specific
* Minimum 4 years QTP experience
* worked on a project with a framework that is NOT Record-Playback and actually had a hand in creating/implementing the framework
* VBScript proficient
* Knowledge of advanced QTP concepts
Others
* Good analysis skills
* Good communication skills
* Good handle of Testing Methodology
* Financial Services experience - particularly in securities brokerage environment.
