My client, a leader in the security of information on portable devices, seeks a sales exec for the Maryland, DC, Virginia, and Delaware territories.  This is a great opportunity as they have virtually zero competitors for the technology you will be selling.


This company has grown almost 200% in the last 36 months.   Ideal candidate will have a good number of relationships with software firms, hardware firm and their reps, and large commercial accounts.  Familiarity with state/local/and educational buying cycles is required.  Extensive state government and/or k-12 sales and experience a plus.


THIS IS NOT A FEDERAL SALES ROLE, TERRITORY INCLUDES EVERYTHING ACCEPT FEDERAL ACCOUNTS.  DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE MORE THEN 25% OF YOUR LAST FIVE YEARS EXPERIENCE TO THE FEDERAL SPACE.


Role involves creating/maintaining relationships with channel partners, OEM’s, and commercial accounts in order to sell solutions to the mid market, state and local government, k-12, and fortune 2000 accounts.    You will manage all engagements for accounts head quartered in your territory (stated above) and be paid identical commissions regardless of the source of the sale.


Only those with at least five years sales experience (quota carrying) in Information Technology should apply.   Experience selling security solutions (software or hardware) a plus.    Additionally, only candidates willing and able to show W2’s in access of $150k+ in two years of the last four years will be considered.  Once I have reviewed your resume we can schedule a time to talk and discuss the position and your background, no phone calls please.
