Adecco is recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Technician for an automotive supplier in Mount Sterling, Ky.

Requirements:

•High School diploma or GED

•Preferred: A two year Technical/Vocational Degree program and 3 years experience or 5 years of multi-skilled maintenance experience

•Must be able to read and interpret blue prints, including conventional and GD&T tolerancing methods.

•Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers and internal personnel.

•Basic computer skills.

•Strong machine control troubleshooting experience.

•Ability to troubleshoot various types of PLC and PC controlled equipment and processes.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Repairs, alters installs, maintains and resets machinery and equipment. Operates and maintains water and factory refrigeration systems such as wells, pumps, water equipment, refrigeration and auxiliary systems.

Uses all hand power tools and electrical testing equipment as necessary in performance of duties. Uses drill presses, grinders, metal saws and pipe threading machines.

Repairs and replaces parts in machines and equipment by dismantling, locating defective parts and reassembling. Makes necessary electrical repair or replacements.

Makes necessary minor parts to perform work such as brackets angles, braces piping, rigging, etc. by using metal cutting saws, drill press, pipe threaders, hand drills, hydraulic press and hand tools.

Tests machinery and equipment as necessary at intervals and upon completion of all jobs to ensure proper operation,

including all safety guards and devices.

Cleans up debris resulting from repairs, installations alterations and lubrication of machines and equipment. Work area must be left clean and ready for production upon job completion.

Lubricates machines and equipment, performs preventive maintenance procedures as necessary or as specified. Remove excess oil and/or grease those results from such lubrication work. Checks, fills and repairs oil systems.

Repairs, maintains, alters, or installs water, air, gas, acid and stem lines. Cuts threads and bends pipe and tubing using heating torch when necessary. Maintains electrical equipment.

Maintains repairs and installs sewer and drain lines and plumbing/plumbing fixtures.

Perform other duties required but not listed above.
